Attorney John V. Hurd manages the firm’s Arlington grew up and currently resides in Arlington with his wife and son. Mr. Hurd’s practice focuses on commercial and residential real estate law and estate planning law.
Real Estate: In his real estate practice, Mr. Hurd concentrates on commercial and residential real estate conveyancing law. Mr. Hurd represents buyers, lenders and sellers in real estate transactions throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island and New Hampshire. Mr. Hurd’s real estate practice also involves condominium formation and conversions; landlord/tenant matters (commercial and residential); and land use/zoning law. Estate Planning: In his estate planning practice, Mr. Hurd prepares wills, trusts and complex estate plans for families and individuals. Mr. Hurd also advises clients regarding Medicaid planning strategies and asset protection strategies to reduce or eliminate estate taxes upon death.
